The name for Jim's sermon series, "Under the Mango Tree," stems from a story of Jim in Ghana. As he travelled with one of our coaches to a remote community, a man ran out and said, "I saw in a dream you were going to come and meet with me under the mango tree!" As we compile and digitalize Jim's sermons, we invite you to meet with us under the mango tree and learn from Jim as he teaches about intimacy with God, love evangelism, and going out to spread the gospel and multiply as disciples.

Generations of Discipleship
God gave Jim a vision for raising up leaders by going deep in discipleship with a few. Jim heard from God that what these leaders needed above everything else was love. Jim and his wife, Fran, founded Young Leaders International to love young leaders and teach them how to love others well. God has continued to bring together other leaders with the same passion for discipleship, and we are seeing the fruit of YLI's vision.
