“For I was hungry and you gave Me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave Me something to drink, I was a stranger and you took Me in”. (Matt 25:35)

The fundamental reason that we started building clean water projects is that so many of the people we encounter in our ministry suffer from thirst. At first, we didn’t even envision the synergies that we’ve seen between discipleship and water ministry. Since 2010, God has used YLI to provide clean water to drink for more than 50 communities, all places where YLI leaders have been working to evangelize, disciple and plant churches.

Indigenous, multiplying, self-sustaining movements in a previously unreached Muslim group
Ghanian coaches extended YLI's discipleship model through West Africa to northern Nigeria, Burkina Faso, Liberia and Cameroon
Partnered with YLI trained leaders to launch sports ministries serving and teaching the gospel to more than 1000 youth per month
Clean water provided to more than 50 communities and 15,000 people
